Quality
All our teachers sign and adhere to a contract which contains each of the following points.
We expect all our teachers to:
- Keep up-to-date on National Curriculum issues and their subject specialism where appropriate.
- Teach their classes or supervise effectively, as required by the school in which they're placed
- Prepare lessons within the work schedules laid down by the school or teach ready-prepared lessons as appropriate.
- Have relevant and appropriate materials available for use on emergency bookings in the Primary sector
- Telephone the school to establish what is required for advance bookings
- Mark any written work that has been completed by primary classes before leaving at the end of each day
- Undertake the marking of work in Secondary schools, except in the instance of single day placements
- Maintain a professional standard of dress when attending for duty
- Behave in a professional manner, abiding at all times by the standards, those, policies and expectations of the school in which they're placed
- Provide break/playground cover where the supply teacher is replacing a colleague who was scheduled for that duty
- Carry out any reasonable requests made by the Head Teacher or their appointed deputy or supervising member of staff
We guarantee that in the event of a candidate failing to achieve the required job performance criteria, we will replace the candidate free of charge within five working days or offer a rebate providing the invoice is paid within 14 days
