Quality

All our teachers sign and adhere to a contract which contains each of the following points.

We expect all our teachers to:

Keep up-to-date on National Curriculum issues and their subject specialism where appropriate.
Teach their classes or supervise effectively, as required by the school in which they're placed
Prepare lessons within the work schedules laid down by the school or teach ready-prepared lessons as appropriate.
Have relevant and appropriate materials available for use on emergency bookings in the Primary sector
Telephone the school to establish what is required for advance bookings
Mark any written work that has been completed by primary classes before leaving at the end of each day
Undertake the marking of work in Secondary schools, except in the instance of single day placements
Maintain a professional standard of dress when attending for duty
Behave in a professional manner, abiding at all times by the standards, those, policies and expectations of the school in which they're placed
Provide break/playground cover where the supply teacher is replacing a colleague who was scheduled for that duty
Carry out any reasonable requests made by the Head Teacher or their appointed deputy or supervising member of staff

We guarantee that in the event of a candidate failing to achieve the required job performance criteria, we will replace the candidate free of charge within five working days or offer a rebate providing the invoice is paid within 14 days
